1st Day - (Wednesday 22nd April) : Guwahati Airport / Rly Station to Kaziranga - Transfer
Approx Distance: 220 Km • Est. Travel Time: 5 hrs
On arrival at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station meet by our driver & transfer to Kaziranga National Park, the home
of “One Horned Rhinoceros”, Check in at your hotel. Evening is free for leisure. Overnight stay at Kaziranga.
2nd Day - (Thursday 23rd April) : Kaziranga - National Park Safari
Early morning explore any one zone of Kaziranga National Park on back of Elephant. Apart from the Rhino, other
species found are Hog Deer, Swamp Deer, Wild Buffalo, Elephants and if you are lucky then tiger also. It is also home
to pelicans, storks and darters as there are a number of water bodies inside the Park. Return to the resort for
breakfast. Mid morning at leisure. In the afternoon enjoy jeep safari through the National Park later visit Kziranga
Orchid Park. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay at Kaziranga.
Important note: Elephant rides are all regulated and controlled by the forest Dept. Govt. of Assam. We do not have
any control on the booking. Elephant ride & Jeep safari are subject to availability only.
If time permitting, you may visit Kaipholangso Waterfall (also known as Kakochang Waterfall), located approximately
40 km away — about 1.5 hours’ drive each way. The visit can be arranged on an additional payment basis.
+ (Contd. 2nd Day) : Jeep Safari - Kaziranga National Park (Central/Kohra Range) - Safari - Indian
The entry gate to the Central Range of Kaziranga National Park is situated in the Mihimukh area of Kohora. This range
is Positioned between the Western and Eastern Ranges. A two-hour Jeep safari will offer you the spectacular views of
the park's wildlife. You may see one-horned rhinos grazing or wallowing in the expansive grasslands, herds of
elephants, and various other species of flora and fauna. The Central/Kohora Range, is particularly renowned for its
tiger sightings, making this safari an exceptional experience for wildlife enthusiasts. For the Jeep Safari, entry is
permitted between 7:30 AM and 10:00 AM, and from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM. This schedule provides flexibility, allowing
guests to begin their safari at any time within these designated hours. The duration of the safari is approximately two
hours.
+ (Contd. 2nd Day) : Elephant Safari - Kaziranga National Park (Western - Bagori Range) - Elephant
Ride - Indian
The elephant safari in Kaziranga National Park, available exclusively in the morning, offers a unique and intimate
wildlife experience. This hour-long journey begins at two points: Bagori in the Western Range and Mihimukh in the
Central Range. The Western Safari Zone, particularly Bagori, is the most preferred for elephant safaris, as its
landscape allows for incredibly close encounters with the park's famed one-horned rhinoceroses. Riding atop a
majestic elephant through tall grasses, you can also spot other wildlife like tigers, deer, and a variety of birds. This
safari offers a perfect vantage point to explore the diverse ecosystem and stunning landscapes of this UNESCO World
Heritage site.
3rd Day - (Friday 24th April) : Kaziranga to Shillong - Transfer
Approx Distance: 295 Km • Est. Travel Time: 7 hrs
After breakfast proceed for Shillong (4,900 ft.), called ‘Scotland of the East”. Enroute visit Umium Lake, a majestic
placid lake with its surrounding sylvan hills. On arrival at Shillong, check in at your hotel. Evening is free for leisure.
Overnight stay at Shillong.
4th Day - (Saturday 25th April) : Shillong - Local Sightseeing with Laitlum
After breakfast visit Don Bosco Museum (Sunday closed), Ward’s Lake, Botanical Garden and Lady Hydari Park. Later
proceed for Laitlum Canyons for some breathtaking views. Evening is free for personal activities. Overnight stay at
Shillong.
5th Day - (Sunday 26th April) : Shillong to Cherrapunjee - Transfer via Mawlynong and Dawki
Approx Distance: 200 Km • Est. Travel Time: 7 hrs
After breakfast visit Mawlynnong Village the cleanest village in Asia (Closed on Sunday). This cute and colorful little
village is known for its cleanliness. It is situated 90 kms. From Shillong and besides the picturesque village, offers
many interesting sights such as the Living Root Bridge (Closed on Sunday) and the strange natural phenomenon of a
boulder balancing on another rock. After that proceed to Dawki, Dawki is along the Indo-Bangladesh border. You can
enjoy boating in the crystal clear waters of the Umgnot River. Evening proceed to Cherrapunjee. On arrival check in to
hotel. Overnight at Cherrapunjee.
Note: Dawki is famous for its crystal-clear water, but clarity depends on weather and natural conditions. Sometimes
the water may not be clear, which is beyond our control.
Sohra (Cherrapunjee) & Dawki are rich by their own unique beauty & full of natural elegance. The places are paradise
of nature lovers, explorers & travel enthusiastic. But these destinations are equipped with very limited options,
facilities & basic amenities. Even best hotels are equivalent to basic 3*. That too without Fan (at few places), AC & Lift.
Standard Accommodations over there are available; just with clean rooms, hygienic bathroom & basic non vegetarian
food (very limited options are there for vegetarian guests).
6th Day - (Monday 27th April) : Cherrapunjee - Local Sightseeing
Get up early to enjoy the mesmerizing mornings of Cherrapunjee. Visit Eco Park, Dainthlen Falls, Nohkalikai Falls,
Nohsngithiang Falls (Seven Sisters Falls), Mawsmai Cave, Thangkharang Park. Overnight stay at Cherrapunjee.
Optional Activity- Proceed for a full day trekking to the Double Decker Living Root Bridge (Closed on Sunday) at
Nongriat Village. Need to trek approx. 3200 steps each way to the Double Decker Living Root Bridge (Closed on
Sunday). We can further trek down to the Rainbow Falls which take about 60 to 90 minutes from the Double Decker
Living Root Bridge (Closed on Sunday).
7th Day - (Tuesday 28th April) : Cherrapunjee to Guwahati - Transfer
Approx Distance: 160 Km • Est. Travel Time: 6 hrs
After breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Guwahati, enroute visit Elephanta falls. Arrive and check in at hotel.
In the Evening visit ‘Kalakshetra’, a place depicting Assamese history and culture. Return to hotel. Overnight stay at
Guwahati.
8th Day - (Wednesday 29th April) : Guwahati Hotel to Guwahati Airport / Rly Station - Transfer Via
Kamakhya
After breakfast visit Kamakhya Temple (Notes -Timing 08:00 A.M till 01:00 P.M & 3:00 P.M till its gets dark).
Transfer to Guwahati Airport / Railway Station for your onward journey. Note: Temple visit will depend on your
departure time. It May be done on previous day.
